DESCRIPTION:Join the Alameda County District Attorney Accountability Table to learn about how the community can use mental health services as a way to prevent and handle violence. Historically\, using jails and prisons as a quick fix for mental health issues and community violence has failed to keep our communities safe. The table wants to stop violence and increase mental health services and programs that can break these cycles of harm. The event will feature experts and community members with lived experience\, who are leading efforts to fix the gaps in mental health support in Alameda County. \n\n\n\nThere are set to be Spanish\, Cantonese and Vietnamese interpreters\, as well as food and refreshments for first 150 attendees.
