Afghan American Author Book Signing & Presentation: Me, Mommy, Mantu

Toba Adina-Jao (pronounced Tuba) is a local Afghan American author. Toba was born in Kabul, Afghanistan and raised in Alameda, CA. A graduate of CSU Sacramento, full-time working mother and a new published author. Her family fled Afghanistan in the early 1980’s.

Toba is the author of Me, Mommy, Mantu which pays homage to the beautiful Afghan culture, the colorful Afghan dish mantu, and most importantly the joy and bonding that takes place when cooking with loved ones in the kitchen. Join us as we embrace and celebrate diversity and multicultural literature.
