U.S. Army Field Band and Soldiers’ Chorus performance at Chabot College

Chabot College is excited to host “The Army Presents Stage and Screen,” a musical evening featuring the United States Army Field Band and Soldiers’ Chorus. The show will be held on the Chabot campus at the Reed L. Buffington Visual & Performing Arts Center (PAC) tonight, Monday, October 23, from 7-9 p.m.
The soldiers performing represent the total Army force, including those deployed and forward stationed worldwide to defend our nation and its interests. Music from many cherished films throughout the decades will be spotlighted, including renditions of hit songs like “How Far I’ll Go” from “Moana” and “Harry’s Wondrous World” from “Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone.”
Army Master Sergeant and Road Manager for the U.S. Army Field Band and Soldiers’ Chorus, Ward Yager, expressed his enthusiasm for the event.
“The U.S. Army Field Band and Soldiers’ Chorus are the ‘Musical Ambassadors of the U.S. Army,’ traveling thousands of miles each year to perform concerts that bring Americans together and honor our nation’s veterans,” said Yager.” ‘The Army Presents: Stage & Screen’ is an exciting musical and visual journey featuring epic movie soundtracks, world-famous operas and stunning solos. By the end of the performance, you will feel like you’ve seen and heard the best the world of entertainment has to offer!”
The event is free and open to all ages. Doors open at 6:30 p.m.
