Community Celebration in memory of Richard Valle

“Supervisor Richard Valle had always been a fierce champion for his community. He began his service to the nation when he enlisted as an U.S. Army medic serving in Vietnam in 1970. Over the next four decades, he would continue his public service, first launching Tri-CED Community recycling – now California’s largest non-profit recycling organization. He was a champion for organized Labor, environmental stewardship, lifting-up at-promise youth, and providing second chances for justice-involved residents.

Come engage with local agencies and community based organizations and learn about county services and initiatives spearheaded in District 2 under his leadership. True to his style, this event is free and all are welcomed. Food and family-friendly activities will be provided.
